I was fortunate to pick up this 1966 DS in the box, in a trade this afternoon. Has all the paperwork with it. I can't get enough of them!

It looks unfired Snakeman. Check out this pic of the backstrap though. Maybe some blood or something got on it and removed the finish. I can't be sure. Maybe the grips were damaged also because they have a different number on the inside and may have been replaced. What do y'all think? There is no wear to be found on the gun, no holster wear, nothing.

That looks more like a sweaty palm not being wiped down after shooting/handling corrosion.

Agree with the longranger...blood is much more corrosive and leaves heavy pitting very quickly.
