Nothing personal...but you shouldn't be putting your email out in a public forum where it could be pirated and you get spammed or worse. Just asking for a personal message through the forum would get you the same results from interested parties.

We get a bit antsy about personal information being broadcast here...there are bad actors out there just drooling over personal information.

Recently acquired S/N 216425 in .44-40 with cut down barrel but otherwise all matching.
Will send off for a letter, but it falls in line with those ordered in 1901 by the Copper Queen Mining Co. in AZ
There was an order of 542 SAA's by the company in 1901 according to the records.

 

The 1st Generation Colt SAA Serial Number List is no longer available on the Colt Forum.

I have one made I believe in 1875. It is nickel, the barrel was shortened to about 5.5", grips replaced, US marked. I purchased this in the 80's and have been looking for a correct barrel since then. I know I will never find it but I still look.
