My opinion, and my opinion only, I can't think of a more worthless gun. A .32 R.F. in a big Colt Single Action Army?

I wrote earlier of my .32-20 win colt saa. I just got the bolt spring yesterday and put it together. Its a heavy club! I also own a .32 H&R mag in a ruger single six. They now are even making or converting the .327 mag in those small light frames. I am guessing the .32 win wasnt yet made when the .32 RF was made in the heavy colt.

I've dealt with O.C. and found him to be a straight up guy. If I had the spare cash lying around I think I might go for that - it is legal over here!

Better jump on it...I'm thinking home equity loan.....

Believe me, I'm thinking about it. Problem is, I'm trying to save for a Henry......I've bought several guns from Mr. Young over the years. He always comes up with something good.

It's pretty darn cool. A true rarity and such a clean original early Model P. Hard enough to find in a standard caliber! I'm intrigued but would not want to tie up so much cash in it.

Although the "original factory rimfire hammer" is no surprise since it was standard on that gun for the 44 rimfire, it appears to be a righteous Colt conversion-before-sale, as they did with .44 RF to 22s. I'd much rather have it still in .44 of course. But the odd caliber is what probably preserved this Colt in its present unmolested and un-shot to hell condition!

I was also intrigued with finding one of two chambered in 44 Colt, Colt's well known 1860 Army percussion conversion cartridge. But I decided making one from a 2nd gen host gun was far more practical!

OC was at the Waco show this weekend. I didn't take a very close look at the guns he brought, but he probably had the gun there. If I had known you were interested in it I could have taken a closer look for you!

Wow! They made 1860-odd .44 Rimfires. 1 - .32 Rimfire. This is a once in a lifetime chance for a SAA collector! I think sixguns knows what i'm trying to get across.
Not being able to jump on this is worst than missing a .476 SAA by 30 minutes, a few years back.

I looked over his stuff pretty closely and I don't think he had this one on his table.

Like I heard a guy say at the colt show last weekend......"You'll agonize more about the guns that you didn't buy, than you will the ones you did buy."

Actually, there were two of the .32 rimfires, if you count David Brown's flattop target. Brown knew of the second one, and also that it was dual marked .44cal and .32cal. I wonder if he knew of this gun, or got his info from Colt records. It's about as rare as they come, so that might be a decent price. JMO

Just spoke with him. He's not taking the gun on the road. leaving it up on the website.
Tried to convince him to take trades but he's holding out for cash.

Taking the afternoon off to try to sell some guns!
