I gave OC a call and had an excellent chat about gun collecting. I was considering this gun, but he advised as a collector just starting out, I should stick with mainstream guns. He thought this gun would be more appropriate to someone who had a large collection and was looking to fill some holes. I appreciated his advice plus he said if I found something else he would provide me his advice on it. Funny thing is I was talking to a wheel restoration shop today also about chroming my now painted wire wheels. He advised against it. No one wants my business. :pMakes you appreciate that some company owners are looking out for the best interest of their potential customers.

IF all correct I don't see how ANY collector could go wrong buying this gun. It's one of a kind!
When I first saw it at 18,500.00 I wondered if it had any "issues." In other words I thought it was too cheap!

I keep thinking the same thing. I would imagine it should be at least twice that. OC must have got this on the cheap. I might have to smash my phone to keep me from making a call...

I like the rarity, but I just have almost no interest in SAA's that aren't .45's or, to a lesser extant, .44's.

That 32 is realy cool and unusual, but scroll down to the first model dragoon prototype with the Walker barrel. I wonder what he had on that before he found out what it was? You guys better buy it now before he does more research.

It was purchased by one of my colt friends, and it now resides in his collection down under.
