I have found an SSA with the serial #52If this is ligit how do I get it authenticated?And how much should I pay? The gentleman is asking $1200It's in fair condition, prob a 5 on a 1-10 scale. Almost no blue left, but boa allot of pitting.

I am new to these guns and don't know really what to look for. I don't know what a pinched frame isCan someone post a pic please? Also a pic of a copy, so I can compare.What markings/lack of markings should I look for?Thanks for all the input!

Also the seller mentioned a "bullseye" ejector. What is that?

Thanks guys, was busting my butt all week, and didn't check this till now. Gun may already be sold but still gonna look at it.

Well the internet is to slow to load pics out here, so will do that when I get to town next.Looked at the gun and it's not a pinched frame, had a long loading gate cutout, but a short replacement loading gate.Almost no blue left, replaced grips(stag) and was stamped Colt on the left side of frame.The se# was indeed 52 stamped on frame in front of trigger guard, and on cylinder.

I was mistaken, the word colt is not on frameIt says "cal .44" that's not right is it?
