Rear sights are much better than on S&WI’ve put a couple thousand rounds through two separate 4.25” Pythons without a single sight issue of any kind (or any other issue, for that matter). And I am sure Colt will sell every single 3” Python they can make.
What is your personal experience with the Python that leads to your comment about the sight?
Picked mine up yesterday! Almost perfectly balanced with the 3in bbl!
This is pretty sweet. Congrats.
They “move” under spring tension and return to zero after every shot- no one with correctly locked windage has reported any issues from this. Both rear sights on my Anaconda and Python move. I dont think they should. Maybe its normal for revolvers?
Considering that a few sold last night for $1399, I agree.Buy It Now price is a little crazy.
Thanks, I am new to revolvers. They “move” under spring tension and return to zero after every shot- no one with correctly locked windage has reported any issues from this.
Maybe it's because original 3" Pythons sell for crazy money, so they figured there would be demand for a $1,500 version.I wonder how colt settled on a three inch versus a two and a half inch version? And why not offer a small frame fitting service grip. Either is fine by me though.
What you see is what you get. You can put any of the stocks made for the Python model on this one as well.Is this 3 Python available w/MOP stocks?
I plan to install service stocks on mine similar to the original 3" models. What you see is what you get. You can put any of the stocks made for the Python model on this one as well.
I was going to put smaller ones on but changed my mind when I got the revolver in my hands. Perfect fit for me.I plan to install service stocks on mine similar to the original 3" models.
How about a photo?I was going to put smaller ones on but changed my mind when I got the revolver in my hands. Perfect fit for me.
