I have serial number 296xx a little lower than the one pictured on GB in this thread and the Colt serial number look up lists it as 1961 as does Colt when called on the phone. The GB gun looks good with a nice finish. Mine has target stocks and hammer. The GB gun medallions look of an older type to me? I wonder if the stocks are correct on it?
