Friend of mine in another city has a .32 PP with the plastic grips, looks to be at quick inspection, about 90-95% finish (couple of rust areas starting--he's not a gun guy). When I can get back there, I'll clean and grease his collection (couple Colts, couple of Smiths, couple of shotguns I haven't seen yet) for him and get a closer look at serial numbers, other markings, etc. Meantime, he wants me to find out what he should insure for. I'd appreciate any suggestions as to general ballpark, and what to look for (condition, markings, etc.) to move the value one way or another in the ballpark.
