The s/n dates it to 1952 and I believe it would have checkered walnut grip panels. I'm not sure what you mean by textured unless it has a pair of the imitation woodgrain grip panels that had a rough textured feel, but I don't believe these were available until a few years later. I have a couple of those type grips with silver rampant colt medallions and I think they are early 60's vintage, but I'm not certain.
A Super of that vintage would have plastic "Coltwood" stocks with molded medallions. Walnut did not come into use until about 1970, when the sandblasted smooth, not checkered, style with metal medallions came into use.
The front strap was not checkered or stippled from the factory. Too bad someone did that to an otherwise very collectable pistol.
