Got a 3rd Gen. New Frontier in .44 Special about a year ago. When I received it, I found it had been fired very little due to a protruding firing pin bushing. Also, the color case hardening is very disappointing. I sent it to a good pistolsmith for a bushing restake. After repairs, when I tried to fire it, I found the headspace was about .001 inch; very tight indeed. Should I just keep this one "as is" or spend more money restoring the headspace to spec. and having the color case restored as well? The blueing us just fine. If work is in order, who should I have do it?
