There is a 4” Officers Model on GB. I’ve never seen one before. I’d guess late 20’s to mid 30’s vintage. What I’d call shooter condition. How rare are these? I’d appreciate any info, as I’m always trying to expand my knowledge base.

Assuming the barrel is an original 4", they're fairly rare (100% premium on Blue Book). That would make it a "Second Issue", 1908-1926. Make sure the barrel hasn't been cut.

4" is the rarest barrel length made for the Officers Model followed by the 5" and 4 1/2" barrels. The only one that was cataloged is the 4 1/2" barrel. All three lengths were available on the second and third issue Officers Models.
