Im currently getting values and entertaining offers on all or part of my colt 1870's small frame conversion revolvers in 38 cal conversion

yes they are all 36 cal...with 38 cal conversions....all numbers match

So they are all for the .38 Rimfire cartridge, none for .38 centerfire cartridge?

Rimfire - firing pin flat on side of hammer at the top
Centerfire - firing pin round in the center of the hammer down lower
