You'd thought he'd at least clean it up a little before taking pictures????

I don't know much about these guns but it seem a little high in price. Actually a lot high. For me anyway its a $500 gun...

Not a $500 gun. It's more than a $500 gun. Nickel OP MKIII's are rare and don't surface often. I've never seen one in person. The light from the flash always makes nickel worse than it really is. Only looks like light scuffing/spider webbing nickel is prone too. I'd bet a good Flitz job on it would do wonders on it.

not many in nickel, but that one is no big deal. I bought an as new 4 inch blue last year for$ 425. Found the correct box for $35, If i had to havea nickel one I would only pay a premium for a 5 inch Detroit PD. Great revolvers , I have two , the aforementioned one that is a 69-70 production with recessed cylinder ,and a later one 99% with target stocks box and papers .Bought it in the 90s for $219. Got to get a time machine
