90's Stainless 4" question

Just picked up this beauty recently with serialed box sleeve and blue box. Wondering if these grips ever came from the factory on a stainless python? I always thought they used the Pach pres grips after they switched from wood stocks. Original owner says they were the factory installed grips. I kinda doubt it but the gun appears to be unfired and has a corresponding box. I'm happy either way but just curious about the plausibility of these being factory issued:

Yes they were but on the right side it will say "Colt" rather than "Hogue"

They do, I should have mentioned that. THANKS! I never knew that. Love this place.
For a couple of years in the mid-1990's the 4" Python came with these Colt marked Hogue rubber grips, the 6" and 8" versions came with Pachmayr rubber grips with Gold Colt medallions.
