Always use the preview button to see how a proposed post will look. Then, if it does not look right, DELETE the entire post rather than positing that you "messed up."

Dictator JudgeColt has spoken. Man, you must be a real sweetheart in person :)
Firebied, the Judge offered some sage advise.I have avoided getting in a pis888g contest with a judge the last time I did I was given 24 hours to think about my transgression.:bang_wall: D*

Oh, lighten up! Don't be so thin-skinned. And yes, I am a real sweetheart - especially in person. Just ask my staff and co-workers. However, I don't dictate much any more - now that almost everything is "canned forms" in the electronic system that has been forced upon us.

My point is, why post that you intended to post a poll, but "messed up" and did not post a poll? Just delete the attempt and try again, previewing until you get what you intended before submitting your post.
Same with photos. On other forums I have seen three and four attempts to post photos, and never check the preview to see if they will post.
Yeah, I messed this post up. My computer froze and I pressed the "Enter button" a couple times, and it posted. I understand how the preview button works, but once it posted I couldn't delete it. No need for a pissing contest and I'm not offended by the delivery of the legendary Judge. I've posted 355 other post successfully on this forum, so I'm not too concerned ;) I know the Judge wanted to vote for my poll and seeing "I messed up" was a let down. I will get the poll up and running, once I work the bugs out.

I was just giving you a hard time ;) I will say that I do appreciate the technical information you bring to the forum.

OK, if you say so, but that certainly is not the way it reads.

I know the Judge wanted to vote for my poll and seeing "I messed up" was a let down.
I assume EVERYONE who opened this thread wanted to vote in a poll.

Still, I do not understand why you could not delete the post once you saw that it did not turn out right. Go to "Edit Post" and select "Delete." Confirm and the post is gone.

After all of this, I am wondering what the poll subject will be. I wait with anticipation!
Me too ! What the Judge said ! Still waiting !!
I thought it made a good thread just listening to the boys grumble. It did serve the purpose of making all the snake boys and girls be on the lookout for the poll.
