Poor & hasty picture of my new to me Fridy the 13th Scout....

NO turn line, came with wood box
4 3/4" bbl
1958 date by serial number

Very nice! I think the .22LR and/or Mag in Peacemaker, New Frontier and New Frontier Scout are the next sky rocketing valued Colts. JMO

Neat one Ray. Think the box would have housed a K series originally as I don't believe the duo tone shipped that way. I have my duo, Q series I think, loaded for plinkin when you're ready ;-)

THis one is also a "Q" serial number, towards the end of that series of numbers. I was pretty sure that the box didn't come with it originally, but I couldn't bring myself to tell them I didn't want it

The box slicked up nicely with a little "Old English" furniture polish, and regluing the cardboard supports under the cloth.

Next time you come down bring her with. Oh, the Canyon Gun Club Annual gun show is today and tomorrow at the Snyder Coliseum...I've primed the pump just hope I can strike oil

. Last year I walked out with a N1908 and a M1903 but this year I dunno where my eye will wander.
