A little weekend entertainment about variations and coincidences. I have two nickel Lawmen (Lawmans /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif ), one having nickeled hammer and trigger, the other a case colored hammer and blue/black trigger. Don't know what cataloged options were of if they were just supplied with available parts at the time.

Also, one does not have a stamp behind the trigger guard although it is clearly original finish, while the other is normal.

Now the serial part. I have experienced a high incidence of "related" serials throughout my gun accumulations although all were acquired quite independently. In the case of these two, four of the five digits are the same and three are in the same position, x9538a and 395x8a. Sorry, but I notice stuff like that. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
