I have a Service Model Ace serial number SM24XXX. I would like to know if this pistol originally had a flat or arched mainspring housing. Thanks,

Colt brought those back for about 4 years. By the serial number it was probably made around late 1979/80. It would have originally had the arched mainspring housing.
