I love this 4" revolver but the DA is atrocious. Since it uses the coil instead of v spring who would you recommend to perform an action job on it? TIA

Wolff springs are a good option. Some people opt to do the swap themselves you can call around to find a gunsmith in your area or "Google" search someone who will work on a Colt. I have done a few with the help of Jerry Khunhausen's books, slow and careful is the rule with proper fitting tools.
