I have owned maybe a dozen HPs of various descriptions over the years....everything from a Nazi Occupation gun to a .40 caliber.

They all wound up being traded/ sold with the exeception of a $200 mismatched beater Israeli surplus gun from the mid ‘80s.

Well, now I have another one from the same time period. It was either Austrian or Belgian police issue with an alloy frame. It is at least 8 ounces lighter than a standard HP.

It came with bulky wraparound Pachmyers which I changed out.

Best,
Charles

The Browning High Power...Not as clumsy or random as a Ruger. An elegant weapon...for a more civilized age."

Full disclosure...I own Rugers too.

The High Power as much the same DNA as the Colt 1911.
