The Sig P230 in .380 has been around for a long time.

The .32 ACP version were limited to production for distribution to foreign countries.

Only 112 made it stateside. These were from a Japanese police overrun.

This elegant pistol deserves a larger audience!! I am a fan! It’ll be a carry gun for sure

I've got one of these in .32 I purchased years ago. Do you know anymore details on them?
Part of what makes it interesting, is the fact that this is the only Sig P230 that is equipped with a manual safety. It is my understanding, from what I learned on the Internet, but 112 of these came into the country as a result of a Japanese police overrun.

The 32 ACP was sold in Europe in greater numbers.

Please post some pictures of yours especially the markings on the frame. All of these that I have seen, which are just a few, have the KH date code from 1997.

Does yours have a lanyard ring? It is my understanding that the Japanese police overrun had lanyard loops. But, these were often removed.
