Very cool Erik; I missed that on my initial look. Nicely done sir!Haven't shot it yet. The sight is irrelevant really on a gun this short. But it looks better with it. I didn't use the original bead because it was so tiny. I used a piece of brass stock that was a little bigger and turned it into a point on a dremel then drilled a hole and silver soldered it in.
There may be. I've made two for you and one for another guy so far. I didn't spend as much time on this one as I did on the ones I've made for others. I left the grips alone and actually kind of like them that way. The others I have stripped and stained and oiled. Also rounded them over. It's way quicker to leave the grip and grip frame alone. That's very cool. When I take my Angels to the range, people go nuts for them. Their
has to be an untapped market for these things. I've had several offers for mine.
Jim, I love it!!!!
Maybe if he sends a pic of this to Uberti they'll pay him royalties on a production model!Hey Erik....do you have warrants out for you in Europe for chopping up Italians??
I did send a picture of it to Dean Osteen of Cimarron. He was the guy I was dealing with when I ordered it from the company.Maybe if he sends a pic of this to Uberti they'll pay him royalties on a production model!1862 Police is one of my favourite Colts and that cut down just looks so right.

Jim, you ever fired that thing with BB caps?
