My grail gun list is now down to 2, I was able to acquire a long sought after 3rd gen model today courtesy of another great forum member. My newest acquisition is a 2009 FSS etched panel SAA, these are getting harder to find in NIB condition. Gun is absolutely beautiful and has everything with it, and has never been fired. I wanted one with a normal Colt serial number, not a commemorative number like the peacemaker centennial models. Box and sleeve are in outstanding condition as well, couldn't have asked for more. Just another example of a fine Colt SAA and a flawless transaction with a fellow forum member. Thanks Keith, this one is definitely a keeper.
Here's some gun porn for my brethren.

That sure is good looking!

It sure bothers me that at one time with things, they made them exactly like I would like....they just don’t make them like that now anymore. I’m gonna spend a considerable amount of my life looking for things they should be making like that now!

I wish I had kept the one I had just like it. I sold it here but don't remember to who. Very cool guns! Congratulations!

Edit: Mine was a BP frame but not an etched panel. I had to go back and take a look at the pictures. Mine also had a 7 1/2" barrel with factory ivory. No CCH on the hammer. I have not seen a 3rd with a CCH hammer. Id almost suspect it was done by a previous owner but it could be an "etched panel" only thing. Now I'm curious....

I really like the case colored hammer. Was it included only on the FSS or were all like that in that time frame? I wish it was done on current production.
Strangely enough the gentleman who I purchased it from had 2 of these, one with CCH hammer and one without. I obviously chose the CCH hammer gun. But to your question I'm unaware of them being Std on that model, someone probably ordered that option or, like USFA, it just got added to some guns.
