well I added another to the collection.
My new toy, a 1968 Trooper,.357 magnum, followed me home this week.
After lowering the hammer slowly and keeping the trigger depressed, the cylinder stays "welded" still.
There is a little, to be expected, blueing wear on the side of the barrel near the muzzle.
Other than that it is like new.
Wish I could add a pic.

I wish you could add a pic too. The Trooper is another of my Colt favorites even though I don't own one.

Don't know why they aren't popular you see a lot of other models of Colts but it's rare when someone says they own a Trooper.

Hope you enjoy your new acquisition.

Maybe they aren't popular around you, but I see Troopers everywhere. Especially so the MkIII models. They seem to be about the most popular Colt behind the 1911.
