Interested in seeing how BSTS 4" and 6" Elites would look, with wood stocks.

Particularly, how good (or not) the differing barrel left -side rollmarks look .

Anyone with photos of theirs?

Yea the Font looks fine to me. They really knew how to stiff them up at the factory without softening anything.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering.
In some photos of blued Elites I've seen, the font looks soft;
but in others ,sharp like typical Python font.

At the time I didn't know any better ad swore they were factory, I do not believe that to be the case now. Either way I thought they were some of the most beautiful grips I had seen on a Python.

There are 2 different style roll stamps for the Elite. One is a Solid Font like the one I showed and the other is actually like a Outline. The Outline do appear a bit lighter compared to the solid counterpart.

That may explain it then.

Looks like they have only 1 front sight pin also.

So a 6" BSTS Elite, good condition w/box , maybe 4.5K? 1K more than comparable non-Elite?
