thanks for keeping an eye out for me! and yes, that is the type of wood i'm looking for.

i would have jumped in with a bid on these except for the fine print description of the "issues" with these grips.

have visions of my skin getting stuck in the space where the grips are "a little short of meeting each other flush at the bottom and behind the trigger guard" as i pull the trigger. ouch!

Mike,,you could still make em work with a little work on the inside with a dremel tool,and lay then down on a flat surface to lap them smooth and straight.If the price is right and they get your eye,,it might be worth a little bitta work.
