Yup ,they should make the point that they are curio and relics according to the BATFE ,meaning they are over 50 yrs old ,and have been long replaced by more modern firearms. Mr President if they are so deadly ,would you have the Secret Service replace their current armament with these deadly relics of a time gone by? Next up ,he will ban all surplus ammo ,then imported ammo. Each incremental ,reasonable step to make the streets safer, for the CHILDREN . I was under the impression that Presidential Executive Orders could not make a law or undo an existing law.
This E.O. seems to fly in the face of USC Title 36, Subtitle II, Part B, Chapter 407, Subchapter II, paragraph 40728A.
This paragraph authorizes the Secretary of the Army to acquire surplus US military weapons that were sent overseas, and bring them back home for the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
I wonder if the NRA will get involved?

I hope so. They should go theoffensive ,with the argument that if the goal is to keep guns out of the hands of criminal ,is the president accusing the CMP of providing guns to criminals. I f he cannot document this , he should immediately exempt the CMP from this executive action ,which as you state is illegal. The law means nothing to those who believe they are right and to hell with the constitution. We are saddled with a law in NY which clearly violates federal and state constitutions. I have little faith in the courts when it comes to gun rights.

I agree 100% and as the "king of the realm" has always done, he slowly and methodically chips away the rights of the citizen until all their rights are gone. Then the citizens become merely subjects or less, and then the democide begins.

my fear is that a country that elected her hubby twice and the current guy twice would have no problem electing her. :bang_wall:

I am rarely wrong in my political predictions . The next president of the United states will be Jeb Bush, with Marco Rubio as VP. Hilliary is damaged goods ,go back and see what .a poor candidate she was in 2008. She will be the Dem nominee, but she will have a dismal record as Sec of State to defend ,as well as multiple dirty financial deals in the State Dept hidden from scrutiny. And oh yeah , Benghazi. WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL IT MAKE ANYWAY? A LOT .
