Hello to all,
Found this forum last nite and decided to sign up.Seems like everyone here knows thier stuff and unlike some other sites I have seen there are no "dumb questions".

Welcome to the forum....jump right in.

The King Cobra was a first for a major gun company, in that it was the first revolver ever issued in stainless steel FIRST.
The blued King Cobra didn't come out until the next year.

The blued KC isn't rare, but it was a lower production model, so they aren't real common, like the stainless.

Only Colt knows the actual production numbers.

there were 3,048,945,204 stainless versions and 2 blue.

one of the blue versions was stolen and the other was destroyed in the great connecticut fire of 1989...

colt offered a reward of 19 sour apples and 3 loaves of moldy bread for the one remaining blue KC but no one has ever taken them up on their offer...

I love sour apples. Are they Granny Smiths ?
If so, I'll take 'em.

Here's my lonely Blue KC.

Hand not included. LOL
