Thought I would give folks a heads up on this new book by John Ogle on Colt catalogs and so forth. I suspect this is one I will be buying shortly after its scheduled publication in October. Ogle's other book on Colt Memorabilia Price Guide has been a good reference book for years. Anyone know anything about this book? The correct title is The Book of Colt Paper; 1834-2011.

I know that John has been working on this book for two or three years. It is a huge project. I gave him some Colt paper to scan at the 2009 CCA show in North Carolina and I know other collectors did also. I'm glad to see that it is almost ready. I expect he will have copies to sell at the CCA show in Kansas City. I'll certainly buy one (or maybe two!).
