Over the weekend I saw a like new 6" Colt Boa and a like new 4" Colt Boa at my local shop. I had never heard of this so called "Boa" so I asked about them and the dealer didn't know to much.

I read some of the posts here over the weekend and realized what treasures these guys are!

I went back right as he opened today and bought them! They have their original boxes, paperwork and everything.

They are consecutively serial numbered in the 700ish range.

Are you guys sitting down? The price was $1,200 FOR BOTH!

The pics suck because it isn't natural light. I'll get some more pictures to show the blueing soon.

Awesome find Geoff!

I've never seen a "Boa" before, but to my eye it looks like Colt took the Trooper MK III frame and mated a Python style barrel to it. When were these made? I'd guess these were made before the MK IV Troopers, yes?

Colt Boas were made in 1985 only for Lew Horton Dist.

600 were made in 4"
600 were made in 6"

1,200 total were made.

Only 100 sets of consecutively serial numbered guns were sold.
