Bought one of the new GCNM roundtops just about a year ago in Dec. 2012. In that time period the front of the grip was not grooved and they had rubber wrap around grips. I put some wood grips in Cherrywood from the old Ajax company on mine. They are impressive pistols for the money.
Recently found a NIB 2002 GCT, without a doubt, the best shooting handgun this old man has ever had. Sure was a fun moment when I said, "out with the clones, this space is now reserved for Colts"
I have had my GCNM for about 10 months and it is very accurate. It is also very well made and my only complaint is that I wish it had adjustable night sights for my old eyes. Happy Holidays. Jeff
