Beautiful Python, but I would still like a letter confirming that the bright polishing was done by the factory.

Bad ding on the edge of the top rib , they don't mention anything about it or show a close up.

Good eyes lbaker45 ! I did not see that.
Where do you all see this gun going price wise? Looks nice, clearly been fired a bunch where will it end?

When I try to sell a bright stainless Python like this on Gunbroker, all I can get is $3200-$3300 no box. I can't take good pictures like other sellers.
Collectors seem to demand original box/letter to prove correctness of the bright stainless since one can have a standard finished gun enhanced to be bright stainless.

Interesting. Close-ups (some multiple) of every where on the top strap but the area with the ding. Too sneaky for me.
I must be getting old, but I can't see any dings... where is it?

And the whole "Elite" Python wording in the description.

Up toward the top of the picture, see it?

Anyone can call Colt with the serial number of a Python and get the model number for free. The model number on bright stainless is different than on plain stainless. So it is easy to check and costs nothing.

Don’t think so, think you need the letter. However sometimes Colts model/sn lookup will post a model
number and several others if same serials but you will know which is which by what your looking for. If you get lucky on that particular one and how it was entered that’s free so worth a shot.

Beautiful Colt, I think it was refinished by a pro. Still a great looking gun.
I recently sold a Bright Stainless 4" Python without box for $3000. It took two Gun Shows to get it sold.
