I've always been amused how often the loading rod would
drop down upon firing.
How I would have solved that issue back in the late '40's.

I would like to see the belt (with suspenders?) to hold up that holster! Wouldn't mind having one of those holsters for displaying my Walker replica.

No trouble as of yet, loading lever is very tight and firm during firing.

With the kind of hard constant use these Walkers got when in active service the sides of that loading lever 'catch' got worn down quickly. And the recoil on these 'canons' was something else, causing the dropping problem.

That is one mighty fine looking holster/belt combination!!!
