Hi guys
I just received my Colt New Police 32.
It was manufactured in 1905 and is a great addition to my Colt collection.
But it got me thinking.
I have several old Colt's:
New Police 32
Official Police 38 special
Army Special 38
Police Positive 38
Are these calibers .38 S&W, 38special and .32
or are they Colt calibers?

The New Police could be either.32 S&W long(Colt called it .32 N. Police) OR .32 Long Colt-you will have to try & fit a .32 S&W long to find out. The O.Police and Army Special are BOTH .38 Special,and I suspect(since you said it was a Police Positive-not marked as Police Positive Special) that this is .38 S&W (or .38 Colt New Police. Bud
