Hi all. Just brought home this well used PP with a chopped barrel. It has tons of character and I had to have it for no other reason than to shoot it. I'm hoping someone can help me with the man. date. The serial number is 103803. It locks up tighter than a drum. I don't know why I'm surprised.
I actually have an almost identical one, 'Police Positive', made early 1920s, nicely 'Chopped' way back when, front Sight re-installed...totally charming.
You're welcome Rock. That revolver has a certain "look" about it that I like. Whenever I see one in similar condition, I can't help wondering who had it shortened, where and why.
