In this period of pandemic hard times, I look at my collection to soften the confinement ...
What do you think of my Colt 1849 cased engraved and silver plated.
One of the former owners of this revolver had added a cylinder with naive engravings

A beautiful cased Colt, I do like the org. cly. engraving best. but nice to have the other also. so nice.
Is that an org. case ? Thank's.

Nice one from Gustave Young’s shop, and from a time frame where they were cranking a lot of them out.

You guys are making me drool. I would love to get hold of an engraved Pocket model, plain ones are all I can afford right now.

Fantastic Colt's gentlemen. Regarding chad45's gun in post #9, is the finish a blue barrel with silver plated frame, or is it a blue barrel with casehardened frame?

In Post #9 is not the same as in Post # 11.
Two Pkt. 49 one in 5" the other in 4# and cased with accessories on the picture.
One G.Young in style #1 of engraving, the other one in style #2 or late G.Young
