I don't know which is worse, Colt, who apparently can not afford to print a catalogue or S&W who prints one that excludes most of their models.

Yeah, Colt was printing some nice catalogs up until the late '90s (excluding the current one, that's as far as my collection goes). This current catalog I have is cheaply produced (the staples aren't even on the spine, they're about 1/2" in on the right side of the fold) like the current owner's manuals; it really looks like a half-a$$ed effort, like it was printed using a color laser printer. I don't know how much longer they'll be printing catalogs in the future, everyone's moving to online catalogs (and the website is so infrequently updated).

Colt's resources must be at bare minimum these days.

You do wonder if they can keep going much longer. I'd like to buy a new Anaconda but Colt may not be around if the gun needed service. Sad to see just a historically interesting firm just quitely die.
