It is a late M1911A1 that was, um... 'slightly' modified. The pistol went through Anniston Armory at some point - looks like 1972 if I am seeing the stamping correctly.

It is certainly interesting!! Thanks for the pic!

Very interesting...I wonder when those modifications were done?


Given the Cartridge length, effective Barrel length would be ohhhh, half-an-inch or so?

Bet it makes quite a Fire Ball..!

blow up the picture and see pixel mismatches all over and it is evident that the trigger guard is copied and pasted repeatedly. Even the grey background shows evidence of copy/paste work

Now that is the most interesting thing I've seen in a while. I love it.
It's kind of funny how I think the two barreled 45 auto is dumb but I like this thing :)
I'd love to find some parts guns and have one of these made.

TJ's Gunworks makes em like that , mostly using a Detonics as a starting spot, but i have seen Colts too....even ones with spikes on the knuckles! Gotta love overkill::) Mike
