I purchased a Colt Lawman with a two inch barrel. when I received the pistol it appears to have been soaked in blood. What is the best way to to clean the grips?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it’s not oil? I’ve cleaned oil soaked grips by putting them in a jar of acetone.. seal it up and let it sit for a day or so.

Hydrogen peroxide will lift blood stains from fabric.. might work on wood grips (?)

If it is blood, I’d be more worried about pitting or damage to the finish of the gun. I think I’d talk with the seller and see what‘s up with the gun.
