Anyone had any experience with the CMMG .22 LR conversion kit for an AR15 223 or 556? It comes with the bolt carrier and a single 10r magazine. Saw a new one at the LGS for about $135. Worth a chance?

I have one and it makes the AR a fun pinker. I use it on a stainless steel barrel in a PSA upper I bought. I figured I didn't want that much lead going through my Colt barrel.

I do get a few failures some could be ammo related but they are easy to clear.

For $10 more you can get the kit with 3 25 round magazines.

I have the CMMG Bravo unit. It's excellent and runs like a champ. I've been shooting it with CCI AR Tactical.
The only quirk to these units is that when you pull the empty magazine out the bolt drops but thats easy to get used to.
