I'm a Smith revolver man. I have a friend that has a Colt Cobra unfired, no box, papers or orginal grips. He doesn't know if it's 4 or 6 in. He bought it 20 plus years ago. Whats a Cobra? he says it's in 357 mag. MGW

Is it a Cobra or a King Cobra ?
If it's a .357 magnum it's most likely a King Cobra. Stainless 4 inch and 6 inch Kings are fairly common and came in a brushed or High polished finish. They will run around $450-$500 in Minty shape.
Colt stopped making them in 1998.

Hope that helps.

By the way, if it's a King Cobra don't worry about the stock grips, you'll be able to pick them up for around $20. They are common and share the same "V" frame as the Anaconda.
