I have a nickeled Baby Russian and several S&W .44 DA topbreaks and maybe a couple others don't come to mind. I'd think by now the chemists could concoct something you could dip your perfect nickeled piece in & have a perfect blue without the usual indicators of a refinish.

I'm also hoping to find a nice Paterson in the bottom of an old trunk -- or maybe cheap at a yard sale.
