Just added a new piece to the collection. A nice lady at the factory (Heather) tells me it is vintage 1993. Serial numer PY3XXX. The stamping on the numbers is a style I haven't seen before. They are a series of small dots, rather than a single punch. You'll also notice the nice stamps the Germans put on her.

The medallion reads "Colt 150," which again I haven't seen before (not that I have seen that much).

I took more photos, but I probably should re-read that thread from the other day about how to photograph before i post them....

Can anyone tell me any more about this gun?

In the 90s, it seems there were some serial numbers stamped with an electric needle. Just kidding, but some of the small frame (SF) revolvers had serial numbers done like that. The 150th medallion is a left over from 1986. They put them on guns for several years after that. However, the catalog was showing rubber stocks on the Python by the 90s, so maybe they were a nice after market addition. JMO :)
