One should look at lots in recent auction catalogs of high-condition martial Armys. There is a distinct variance in those and the specimen shown by the OP. It’s been seriously worked over. Not what one likes to hear, but it is what is.

Desron6 has this pretty well figured out. This gun is completely refinished, done in modern times, and some serials at least restamped. I think most of the parts are old, except the cylinder and the wood, but all refinished using modern techniques, and serials added so that this looks like a matching serial gun, which it is not.
I bet if you looked down the barrel, you will find wear and pitting.
