I have a chance to purchase a period brown flap holster for a Colt 1860 Army revolver. The holster has lost a lot of its finish, but is complete including the toe plug, flap, stud and the strip that fastens over the stud. There are no markings evident. The stitching is broken/loose from the trigger guard most of the way down to the toe plug. Can anyone give me a value range for the holster? Since it is period-correct but not usable in its current condition, would it decrease the value to have the stitching repaired? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
