Is it possible for someone to post a picture of these two magazines? I am unsure of how they look differently.

See if these help, a little late this evening for better photos. The one on the left is the early full blued, unmarked, pinned base. The one on the right is the two toned crimped marked CAL. 32 over COLT.

Another question relating to the grips. I have seen one of these Colts where one side had a black grip, and the other looks like it turned a greenish color. Same design of grip, just a color difference. Is it likely that one of these grips has been changed out at some point?

The black hard rubber grips can change color if exposed to sunlight for long periods of time, possibly from someone displaying their pistol. The grip exposed will usually turn a brownish color. I've seen some that are almost tan.
