I knew Fabrique nationale (FN) Browning had agents in Australia, and namely one in Melbourne: Alcock & Pierce.
I have recently acquired this Colt s/n 207919 (dated circa 1916), and was immediately attracted by the agent's name on the slide.
I'd curious to know how many Colt 1903's were sold over there at that time (WW1), and at what point that may influence the value to a collector.

Your appreciation please, fellow gentlemen.

I am not sure.. but were dealers allowed to sell FN and Colt pistols?... I remember something about an agreement who could sell his products in which country. I have a FN 1906 (a "sister" of the Colt 1908 .25) marked Alcock & Pierce.
