I stumbled upon a 1928 Colt 1908 Vest Pocket .25 ACP today. Honestly, I did not know they ever existed, but noticed it as a mini Model 1908 immediately. Because I'm not familiar with these, I was wondering if the shop's asking price ($500) seems reasonable. I did dry fire it and everything seemed to work as it should. Thanks for any info!

I am somewhat prejudiced.
The ones I have were $220 few years ago, and `$160 for one I snagged last summer.
Decent ones are in the $400 and up range.
I think $500 is steep for that one.
You will get other opinions.

Your location, your store. You probably know already but as a rule, most places mark up used stuff just a tad higher than they can get away with for new. Every body knows what new stuff costs, but not used. Also some shops mark up used just a bit more so they can seem to allow more when somebody wants to trade a gun in. Make them an offer!
