walter,

No Serial Number under the Firing Pin Stop? The barrel should not have a serial number.

Pictures, in natural light, of both sides and close-ups of all markings and roll stamps (including the barrel).

Best Regards,
Serial number 805879 would be a Model 1911A1 and will be so marked on the right side of the receiver. If the slide is original it will have the serial number under the firing pin stop plate. Push the firing pin in and slide the plate down. If it is not numbered it is not original to the pistol. The finish of the pistol would be phosphate, and the barrel finish blue. Original barrel would be marked COLT .45 AUTO on the left side of chamber just above lug, and there will be a letter or number stamped on the bottom of the barrel ahead of the lug.

Without some idea of whether the pistol is original and matching is would be impossible to give a value.
THANK YOU ALL for the help it is a clean gun ,but nothing matches or have S/N that match .Barrel has no markings and no marks behind the F.P.stop .with your help you cleared up the value for me.
