I have a Colt 1911 got I bought about 20 years ago that has been setting in the safe. My grandson was looking at it the other day and asked about it and I told him I had no information on it. Maybe some one here can give me some information on it.

Colt 1911, 45 ACP, ser # 331XX Has a WPG Monogram, checkerd wood grips, retains most all of blue finish in good shape.

Any idea of approx value or information would be appreciated.

Thanks, Frank

Sounds like a good one. Maj. Walter G. Penfield inspected this 1913 Colt M1911.

Pics would be helpful. If original, it could be worth thousands.

Sorry Guys, I am not up to speed on taking pictures and posting them. All I can say about my 1911 is that it is all original, bluing is about 75% to 80% or better, barrel is excellent and the action is tight.
